Job summary

Citi in Taiwan is looking for a Finance Reporting Senior Analyst, Assistant Vice President, hybrid in Taiwan. The role leads regulatory reporting, coordinates with Finance, Risk, and Compliance, and drives improvements in data quality and process controls.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years of financial services regulatory experience, strong communication skills, and a proven ability to manage complex reporting programs in a large organization.

Qualifications

  • 5-8 years of extensive experience within the financial services industry and regulatory reporting. Securities firm experience is preferable.
  • Qualification as a senior agent (高級業務員資格條件).
  • Able to navigate through a large organization to streamline and summarize multiple information points and create repeatable processes to build consistency in presenting information.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with ability to synthesize complex concepts, and influence change.
  • Strong technical problem-solving skills and an ability to identify conflicts, discrepancies and other issues and bring together the right team to solution them.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and tasks in a complex and dynamic and work well as part of a team.
  • Experience managing large tasks in complex environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the support the production, review and timely submission of regulatory filings and reports to local regulators.
  • Monitor and manage key metrics associated with reports to identify challenges and issues. Support the senior leads with the implementation of processes and controls to mitigate the risk of inaccurate reporting.
  • Collaborate with the team to drive process improvements to enhance the accuracy, efficiency, and transparency of the regulatory reporting process.
  • Assist senior leads during regulatory inquiries and examinations, delivering accurate information and analysis to aid regulatory reviews.
  • Work with peers and program leaders on the implementation of regulatory changes within the reporting framework.
  • Partner with Risk & Controls team to maintain and enhance an effective internal control’s structure.
  • Drive the analysis of financial results and conclude cause of variances.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

The Regulatory Reporting role is an intermediate reporting manager within the Controllers Organization that will report up through the Global Head of Regulatory and Capital Reporting. The individual will lead a team to support the preparation, analysis and submission of regulatory reports to various constituencies (local regulators, U.S. Federal Reserve, OCC, etc.) based on applicable requirements such as U.S. Regulatory and local regulatory reporting rules and instructions. The position will have a high level of visibility within the organization with opportunities to work directly with other Finance and non-Finance functions throughout Citi, including the Businesses, Risk, Treasury, Financial Planning & Analysis, as well as Enterprise Technology, & Operations.
