Title: Finance Reporting Analyst
Location: New York, NY (remote)
Type: Contract

Our client is seeking a Finance Reporting Analyst to support financial officers and administrative teams through the development of dashboards, analytics, and reports. Enhances business intelligence platforms and ensures timely, accurate financial insights for decision-making.

Key Accountabilities:

• Enhance and develop BI content including planning, analysis, design, programming, testing, and deployment.
• Support financial reporting platforms such as StrataJazz and Cognos Analytics.
• Support the Master Data Stewardship process and collaborate with data owners.
• Work with business stakeholders to identify and meet informational needs.
• Partner with IT teams to improve existing applications and document changes.
• Accurately capture requirements and functional specifications using standard templates.
• Manage and track the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in lieu of degree
• Five (5)+ years of experience in business intelligence / reporting using tools like Strata, Cognos, Tableau.
• Experience with master data stewardship.
• Strong SQL, report development, and programming experience.
• Strong business and data analysis skills.
• Functional knowledge of financial concepts such as financial statements and chart of accounts.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Healthcare industry experience is a plus.
