Job summary

Sherpa | Recruiting, Staffing & Consulting in the United States seeks a Finance Manager – Financial Reporting & Analysis to drive monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, performance analysis, and management reporting within a global, matrixed organization.

You will partner with FP&A, Accounting, and global Finance teams to translate financial data into insights, support decision-making, and lead process improvements in reporting tools and systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 5+ years in financial reporting, FP&A, corporate accounting, or financial analysis.
• Experience leading reporting processes and cross-functional projects; people mgmt preferred.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial statements.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting.
• Advanced Excel and ERP/BI tools proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for accuracy and timeliness.
• Analyze income statements, balance sheets, and key metrics to explain performance.
• Develop and enhance reporting dashboards and management reports for leadership.
• Perform variance analysis against budget and forecasts, communicating findings.
• Partner with FP&A and Accounting to support performance reviews and initiatives.
• Coordinate period-end close with cross‑functional teams to ensure data integrity.
• Drive process improvements, standardization, and reporting automation.
• Utilize ERP/BI tools to extract, validate, and present financial information.
