The TechOps Finance team is seeking an innovative and results-drivenindividual for the Finance Program Manager – TechOps Finance role. Thisposition will be supporting Delta Air Lines Engine Maintenance operation bycollaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver industry-leadingoperational and financial performance. The successful candidate will have acontinuous improvement mindset and thrives in a dynamic, team-orientedenvironment.
Key responsibilities for this position include:
Optimizefinancial performance of the Product Line by having an in-depthunderstanding of the governing OEM and supplier contracts to maximizecontractual entitlements in partnership with the operating teams.
Ownership of the Product Line P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow byperforming month-end close activities, creating insightful reporting,managing weekly forecast process, and supporting the annual operating planprocess.
Prepare and present strategic recommendations to OperatingLeaders during weekly Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings that drivescost productivity and maximizes resources without sacrificing operationalperformance.
Conduct variance analyses to evaluate financial performanceversus multiple scenarios to understand cost-drivers and providerecommendations to achieve financial targets.
Plan, coordinate and driveclosure on ad-hoc projects that support strategic initiatives.
Developboth strategic and tactical plans that create a safety-conscious environmentresulting in employee safety and wellbeing.
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
At least 5 years of experience in a finance or analytics-based role.
Strong financial analysis, project management, and decision-making skillswith the ability to manage multiple projects and workflows in a structuredmanner.
Excellent presentation, written and oral communication skills.Demonstrated ability to distill complex business topics into a cohesivestory using metrics and data.
Forward thinking, self-starter that has aproven ability to work independently.
Exceptional interpersonalcommunication and relationship-building skills.
Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, andpersonal data.
Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in theUnited States.
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)
A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or another business-relatedfield, MBA, or CPA.
Previous experience in a Financial Planning andAnalysis or similar Corporate Finance role.
Demonstrated ability ofapplying Lean methodologies and principles in an operating environment andtransactional.
Comprehensive understanding of airline maintenanceoperations and maintenance program management.
Experience using Delta’sfinancial tools such as SAP and Oracle as well as advanced Microsoft Excel,PowerPoint, Tableau, and other data analysis tools
