Job summary

Netflix’s Finance PMO is seeking an experienced Finance M&A integration professional to drive end-to-end integration from due diligence through Day 1, including strategy, planning, and execution. You will collaborate with IMO, Talent, Technology, and Legal to deliver scalable, compliant finance solutions during deals.

The role is hybrid, based in Los Angeles or Los Gatos with part-time remote flexibility and occasional travel, including international locations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required (business or finance preferred).
  • 7+ years in finance or finance systems; with 5+ years finance project or program management.
  • 3+ years leading Finance M&A integrations, including due diligence support, Day 1 planning, and post-close integration.
  • Strong knowledge of finance and accounting principles is highly preferred.
  • Ability to build trust and drive alignment across Legal, Talent, Technology, and IMO stakeholders with competing timelines or risk tolerances.
  • Curiosity about learning new tools and technologies, including AI-assisted solutions, and translating business needs into clear requirements.
  • CPA or any professional finance accreditation is a plus.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead finance integration workstreams for M&A transactions across Core Finance, Tax, FP&A, Treasury, and Finance Product & Technology from due diligence through Day 1 and Day 100 milestones.
  • Maintain a modular Finance Integration Playbook with diligence checklists, Day 1 readiness plans, 30/60/90/100-day task libraries, templates, and migration frameworks.
  • Proactively manage risks and implement issue or risk-mitigating strategies.

Netflix’s Finance Program Management Office (PMO) is looking for an experienced Finance M&A integration professional to drive the end-to-end finance integration journey from confirmatory due diligence through integration strategy, planning and execution. You will work closely with the M&A Integration Management Office (IMO) and serve as the bridge between Finance teams and the core integration team throughout the M&A process from evaluation to execution. This position reports to the Director, M&A - Finance.

This is a hybrid position that can be based in either Los Angeles or Los Gatos and offers the flexibility to work remotely part-time. Occasional travel may be required to other office locations, including internationally.

Responsibilities:
Program Management
  • Lead finance integration workstreams for M&A transactions - spanning Core Finance, Tax, FP&A, Treasury, and Finance Product & Technology - from due diligence through Day 1 and Day 100 milestones, including integration playbook refinement, milestone tracking, and synergy realization reporting. Ensure critical controls, processes, and reporting capabilities are operational at close.
  • Maintain a modular Finance Integration Playbook, including diligence checklists, Day 1 readiness plans, 30/60/90/100-day task libraries, standard deal playbook templates, communications plan approaches, Employee Day 1 plans, and systems migration frameworks, updated continuously with learnings from each deal
  • Proactively manage risks and anticipate potential issues that pose a threat to achieving project goals; propose and implement issue or risk-mitigating strategies.
Stakeholder Management and Business Engagement
  • Cultivate strong stakeholder relationships and maintain effective communication channels. Provide stakeholders with project decisions and milestone tracking. Ensure executive sponsors are informed via status updates and appropriate escalations.
  • Collaborate with Finance business leads, the Integration Management Office (IMO), Talent, Technology, Legal, Corporate Development, and other cross-functional deal teams to deliver integration solutions that meet or exceed business stakeholders' needs.
  • Serve as the Finance point of contact within the broader deal IMO structure, representing finance workstream status, risks, and dependencies in integration steering committee updates.
  • Liaise with acquired Finance teams during transition, ensuring continuity and minimal disruption to close cycles and business operations.
Change Management
  • Contribute to change management for finance process and system changes resulting from integrations, including chart of accounts harmonization, legal entity consolidation, ERP/tool migrations, etc.
  • Partner with the integration core team to develop change management plans for key cross-functional milestones, including Employee Day 1, vendor analysis, etc.

  • Comfort operating under time pressure and confidentiality constraints typical of deal environments.
  • Strong executive presence paired with the ability to synthesize complex, fast-moving integration status into clear, decision-ready updates for senior leadership and deal sponsors.
  • Adaptability and sound judgment when processes are being defined in real time.
  • CPA or any professional finance accreditation is a plus.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
Compensation

Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $215,000.00 - $340,000.00.
