Job summary

Computer-Systems-Institute seeks an Instructor for the Finance program to plan and deliver instruction with approved curricula. The role includes teaching up to 27.5 hours per week, preparing lesson plans, delivering lectures, and facilitating project-based learning across finance topics.

You will assist students, assess progress with various tools, and maintain SAP records for the Academic Dean. Faculty development and campus involvement are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in finance, accounting, economics or similar field (or related field).
• If degree not in finance, candidates with at least two years of related work experience or evidence of specialized training may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver in-class instruction with approved curriculum.
• Teach and deliver lectures up to 27.5 hours per week.
• Prepare lesson plans for each class session.
• Deliver lectures and facilitate Project-Based Learning (PBL) on business topics.
• Assist students in the learning process.
• Evaluate and monitor student progress using various assessment tools.
• Maintain records to report SAP to Academic Dean/Program Manager.
• Attend quarterly campus-wide instructor in-service meetings.
• Stay current with teaching advancements through professional development.
• Organize and lead field outings for student enrichment once per module.
• Contribute to program improvement through committee involvement.
• Provide academic advising to support student growth and retention.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or higher in finance/economics or related field

Two years of related work experience or evidence of specialized training related to finance
