Job summary

JPMorganChase Newark, DE is seeking a Finance Product Owner Associate to drive the build-out and modernization of data analytics tools and reporting applications for internal and external regulatory needs. You will work with stakeholders and technology teams across Finance, Credit Risk and Treasury in an Agile environment, managing the product backlog to maximize value.

The role requires strong data modeling, ETL, and dashboarding skills, with hands-on experience in SQL and Excel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in user-facing product ownership, ideally within financial services and/or regulatory reporting.
• Proven track record building user-centric data analytics tools at scale.
• Strong communicator able to tailor messaging to executives, developers and business users.
• Ability to assimilate business and technical knowledge while juggling multiple work streams with tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in Excel and SQL for data analysis.
• In-depth knowledge of ETL, Data Modeling, and Reporting Automation.

Responsibilities

• Design and build user-facing data analytics tools — dashboards, exception management, and adjustment workflows.
• Own and prioritize the product backlog in an Agile/Scrum framework, maximizing delivery value against firm-wide goals.
• Utilize Agile delivery methodologies, including JIRA and Confluence, to effectively manage and execute projects.
• Develop and deliver clear and tailored communication to various audiences, fostering strong relationships and collaboration.
• Apply knowledge in Data Modelling, Reporting Automation, and Dashboarding, while leveraging data wrangling tools like Alteryx to enhance data processes.
• Organize and prioritize multiple work streams, ensuring attention to detail and adherence to tight deadlines.
• Lead and influence cross-functional teams, employing strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills to drive collaboration and achieve organizational goals.
• Manage communications, governance and delivery across multiple concurrent workstreams.
• Partner with LOB stakeholders, data SMEs, consumers & technology teams across Finance, Credit Risk & Treasury
