Job summary

Mortenson Construction is seeking a Process Optimization Manager to drive cross‑functional process improvements for Finance and adjacent areas. You will lead large scale transformation efforts, map future state processes, and embed lean practices to enable scale and efficiency.

The role requires 7+ years of process improvement leadership, with Lean Six Sigma credentials preferred, and the ability to influence without authority. Join a team focused on actionable outcomes and measurable impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7+ years of experience leading process improvement methodologies, with finance experience preferred.
• Experience and certification in Lean or Six Sigma preferred.
• Ability to influence without authority to achieve change.
• Knowledge of Lean (continuous improvement, operational excellence) practices and approaches.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Finance process owners to drive critical process improvements and automation across Finance and other functions.
• Establish a continuous process improvement mindset with KPI/metric targets and monitoring.
• Develop process maps, frameworks, and gap analyses for process owners.
• Create, deploy, and maintain process best practices and documentation.
• Collaborate with diverse teams across organizational levels.
