You will coordinate with multiple divisions and contractors to resolve complex issues and improve financial performance.

The role involves reviewing reports, guiding accounts receivable activities, and supporting audits while contributing to process improvements and risk management.

Qualifikationen

• Four years of experience working in government programs/health care or health insurance such as Medicaid, Medicare or commercial insurance industry.
• Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access proficiency.
• Proofreading, editing, and attention to detail.
• Preferred Qualifications include knowledge of federal and state health insurance laws and SME/Team Lead experience.

Aufgaben

• Review and oversee financial and claims-related processes to ensure accurate payment, regulatory and contractual compliance.
• Coordinate with Finance, Claims, Program, MCOs, the Fiscal Agent, and other stakeholders to research, resolve, and communicate financial issues.
• Review financial reports (Monthly Recoupment Cap, FIN-AR07, AR12) and identify discrepancies, recovery opportunities, and financial impacts.
• Oversee Accounts Receivable, Debt Set-Off, Direct Refund Checks, expenditures, payments, recoveries, and write-offs; evaluate transfer/ write-off eligibility.
• Develop, document, and improve financial processes, workflows, and internal controls; monitor compliance.
