Job summary

Raytheon, a U.S.-based aerospace and defense leader, seeks a Finance Principal Specialist for Domestic Patriot production programs in a hybrid capacity. You will partner with program teams on financial, contractual, and resource decisions, ensuring cost and schedule execution and EV/MRB reporting.

The role requires multi-tasking, clear communication, and strong financial principles; location options include multiple U.S. sites with relocation not provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field with 5+ years related work experience; OR an Advanced degree with 3 years related work experience.
• Experience using SAP APEX software, MS Analysis for Office, PMX, EDIT+ or similar systems
• Experience with Estimates At Complete (EAC) and/or Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Responsibilities

• Be a trusted business partner with internal and external stakeholders to drive excellence in financial strategy and execution across a dynamic portfolio of programs and captures
• Quarterly Estimates at Complete (EACs) of required programs
• Guide program startup, program baseline development, project build out and Earned Value implementation
• Compile, validate and deliver recurring & non-recurring EV deliverables
• Monthly forecast development and presentation (FP&A)
• Support the development of the long range and annual operating plans
• Analyze key financial data and metrics that will aid business decision making
• Drive alignment of information between proposals, earned value management, estimates at complete, resource and investment management, and financial plans and forecasts
• Develop, utilize and disseminate process improvement and tool improvement opportunities to enhance analytical opportunities for the entire finance team
