Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting or related field.
• Preferred: Banner financial software experience.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively under tight deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Excel
• Knowledge of USDA NIFA civil right compliance review process
• Knowledge of USDA Financial procedures

Responsibilities

• Assists in defining objectives and develops policies and procedures; provides senior leadership in scheduling facilities and events.
• Leads preparation of financial reports and manages expenditures and revenue sources for the School of Agriculture.
• Ensures compliance with university and USDA policies and procedures in all activities.
• Recruits staff, monitors recruitment processes, and maintains personnel records.
• Coordinates communications and serves as EEO officer for civil rights compliance.
