Job description

Our client, a prestigious law firm, is seeking a Finance Paralegal to join their team! This position is hybrid, based 3 days in their wonderful Midtown, Manhattan office.

Job Responsibilities

1. Prepare UCC documents and coordinate filing UCCs with various service providers
2. Prepare and file EIN applications
3. Perform research on existing entities
4. Obtain documents from different government agencies (local, state, Secretary of State, etc.)
5. Order, review, and summarize lien searches
6. Draft short form agreements, certificates, and resolutions
7. Edit promissory notes, guarantees, finance statements, and other documents
8. Analyze revisions between drafts of various transaction documents
9. Coordinate Sales Finance License applications
10. Manage and track document progress and signatures
11. Coordinate electronic file sharing
12. Create and maintain closing checklists to ensure conditions are met
13. Perform post-closing duties
14. Perform other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s Degree
2. Paralegal education from ABA-approved program
3. 10+ years’ paralegal experience
4. Extensive financial transactional experience
5. Experience with UCCs, EIN applications, FDIC, OCC, etc.
6. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
7. Notary experience is a plus
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
9. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
10. Ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects

Salary Range: $110,000 - $145,000 based on experience.
