Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. in San Jose, CA seeks a Finance Manager to join the AI Group Finance team. You will improve financial processes, consolidate information across strategic areas, and drive automation to support executive decision-making.

The role emphasizes FP&A, reporting, and scalable financial systems, partnering with Business Finance, Corporate Accounting, and Operations to enhance financial visibility in a fast-paced tech environment.

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience in FP&A, finance operations, financial reporting, finance transformation, or related corporate finance roles
Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities including forecasting, scenario analysis, and reporting
Advanced proficiency in Excel with large datasets and reporting automation
Experience developing financial dashboards and scalable reporting processes; familiarity with BI tools is a plus
Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and operational efficiencies within Finance
Proficiency in AI-powered productivity tools to enhance reporting and workflows
Strong understanding of financial statements and controls across P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow
Experience consolidating financial information across multiple functions, systems, and data sources
Strong communication and presentation skills for executive-ready materials
Ability to manage cross-functional projects and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Self-motivated and detail-oriented, comfortable operating in ambiguity
Experience in semiconductor/technology or multinational business preferred

Responsibilities

Finance Process Improvement: streamline workflows and standardize processes across AIG Strategic Finance
Financial Reporting & Dashboards: develop and maintain management reporting and metrics
Financial Data Management: consolidate data across workstreams ensuring accuracy and integrity
Portfolio Reporting: support consolidated reporting of strategic transactions and commitments
Automation & Transformation: lead automation of manual reporting and reconciliation
Financial Modeling & Analysis: build models for planning, exposure tracking, scenario analysis
Cross-Functional Coordination: align data sources and assumptions across functions
Financial Controls & Governance: improve controls and audit readiness
Executive Reporting: prepare analyses and executive-ready materials
Continuous Improvement: establish scalable reporting cadences and frameworks
