Job summary

AMD, headquartered in San Jose, CA, seeks a Finance Manager for the AI Group to enhance financial processes, reporting, and efficiency. You will consolidate data, automate reporting, and deliver insights across strategic transactions and commitments.

You will partner across Finance, Accounting, Operations, and other stakeholders to drive cross-functional improvements, build scalable models, and support executive decision-making in a fast-growing AI business.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated FP&A, finance operations, financial reporting, and finance transformation experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel with large datasets, data reconciliation, and automated reporting.
• Experience building financial dashboards and scalable reporting processes; familiarity with BI tools.
• Experience consolidating information across functions and coordinating data sources.

Responsibilities

• Identify and drive initiatives to streamline financial processes, standardize workflows, and improve efficiency.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance management reporting, dashboards, and performance metrics.
• Consolidate financial information across workstreams ensuring data integrity for forecasting and reviews.
• Support consolidated reporting of strategic transactions, commitments, and financial exposure.
• Lead automation initiatives to reduce manual effort and improve scalability.
• Build and maintain financial models to support planning, scenario analysis, and performance evaluation.
• Coordinate with Business Finance, Accounting, Operations and other stakeholders.
• Develop governance and controls to improve reporting accuracy and audit readiness.
• Prepare executive-ready analyses and presentations translating financial data into actionable insights.
• Establish scalable reporting frameworks and cadences to support growth.
