Job summary

Harvard Faculty of Arts and Sciences is seeking a Financial Operations Manager to lead a team delivering financial operations across departments. You will supervise staff, ensure compliant processes, and partner with university finance teams to drive efficiency.

Responsibilities include overseeing accounts payable/receivable, payroll, procurement, and sponsored research workflows, with a focus on continuous improvement and excellent customer service in a hybrid on-campus setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum of 5 years’ relevant work experience.
• MBA or Master’s degree preferred; CPA desirable

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop a team of finance associates and senior finance associates.
• Hire, onboard, train and manage performance; foster inclusive environment.
• Manage workload distribution to maintain high service levels.
