Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina is seeking a Finance Operations Manager to oversee AP and Payroll teams and advise internal partners on financial performance. You will lead process improvements, manage month-end close, and drive data-driven decisions to support organizational goals.

The role requires a Bachelor's in accounting (CPA preferred) and 5+ years in Finance Operations with supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Finance Operations with supervisory experience
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication with clear data storytelling
• Ability to drive process improvements and partner with business teams
• Advanced or expert Excel skills; Power BI experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee Accounts Payable and Payroll operations and teams
• Develop and monitor metrics for data analysis and performance
• Support budgeting and annual operating plan
• Provide analytical insight during monthly/annual close processes
• Collaborate with internal partners to improve efficiency and controls
• Prepare data analytics and presentations for leadership discussions
• Liaise with departments and represent the team in meetings
