Job summary

Wordbricks, Inc. is seeking a Finance & Operations Lead to own the company’s finance function end to end, from day-to-day accounting oversight to planning and investor-ready reporting.

You will also help keep operations running smoothly as we scale, with responsibilities spanning budgeting, cash flow, procurement, and process optimization. You will partner with external accountants on monthly closes, lead financial reporting for leadership and investors, and build lightweight operating processes

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in finance, operations, or a related role.
• Strong understanding of startup accounting and financial planning.
• Comfortable being the first finance hire and building the function from zero.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and reliable with numbers.

Responsibilities

• Own budgeting, forecasting, and monthly close in partnership with our external accountants
• Manage cash flow, runway planning, and financial reporting for leadership and investors
• Run vendor, contract, and procurement processes
• Build the lightweight operational processes a growing company needs
