Job summary

Uber Freight is seeking a Summer 2027 Finance Operations Intern that is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting and is driven to make a positive difference. Following completion, interns may be considered for a full-time opportunity.

You will consolidate monthly financial operating review slides, coordinate with stakeholders, and learn FinOps workflows across billing, collections, and cash applications in a hybrid Chicago, IL or Rogers, AR location.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, or Marketing.
• Expected graduation between December 2027 and May 2028.
• Ability to work in Rogers, AR or Chicago, IL.
• Ability to work full-time, 40 hours, between June 7, 2027 - August 13, 2027.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate slides for the monthly financial operating review and obtain commentary from stakeholders.
• Resolve open items with responsible parties and tie out data on charts for accuracy.
• Assist Business Partners including Sales, Operations, and Finance.
• Spend time with FinOps Team learning Billing, Collections, Cash Applications, Audits and accounts payables.
• Participate in special projects, system enhancements, and ad hoc analysis as assigned.
