Coinbase is offering a 12-week Finance Operations Internship for Summer 2027 within the Institutional Operations Solutions (IOS) team. Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree or certificate in business, management, finance, accounting, or a related discipline.

• Proven willingness to engage cross-functional stakeholders and collaborate in team settings.
• Familiarity with finance or banking concepts, with interest in crypto and digital assets.
• Utilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day IOS operations while identifying and managing operational risk across compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve existing processes and risk management capabilities, recommending solutions backed by data analysis.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and other cross-functional stakeholders to build technology solutions that support institutional operations at scale.
• Analyze data sets and deliver recommendations grounded in sound quantitative reasoning.
• Collaborate with fellow interns on a group project solving a real business problem, presenting findings and solutions to the leadership team.

This is a 12-week internship during summer 2027.

Join the Institutional Operations Solutions (IOS) team within the Institutional group as a Finance Operations Intern. This team manages risk and delivers operational solutions across Coinbase’s Institutional organization, supporting a broad range of teams and functions that help scale the institutional business. You'll work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and institutional clients, tackling real operational challenges.

Pay Transparency Notice:Depending on your work location, the target hourly rate for this position can range as detailed below.

Hourly Rate:

$40—$40 USD
