Job summary

Walker-Miller Energy Services in Detroit seeks a Senior Director of Finance Operations to lead FP&A, accounting and treasury, partnering with the CFO to translate strategy into actionable plans and metrics. This role drives disciplined execution, integrates finance outputs, and promotes standardized, scalable processes to support growth.

You will collaborate with Operations, HR and IT, build a high-performing team, and drive controls, reporting, and cost management across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 10+ years in finance, including FP&A, treasury, or related areas, with leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and audit readiness.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with financial systems implementation, automation, data governance, or reporting modernization.

Responsibilities

• Lead FP&A, accounting and treasury functions to align goals, priorities and timelines.
• Partner with the CFO to translate strategy into actionable plans, forecasts and performance measures.
• Drive finance transformation and process improvements across finance operations.
• Promote a one-finance-team culture with clear roles, accountability and communication.
• Develop executive-level reports and presentations for senior leadership.
