Job summary

Walker-Miller Energy Services in the Detroit metropolitan area seeks a Vice President of Energy Efficiency to lead and oversee a portfolio of energy efficiency programs across multiple utilities. Reporting to EVP Operations, this role drives strategy, client satisfaction, financial performance, and achievement of energy savings targets.

You will direct EE program design, implementation, and engineering teams, build high-performing leaders, and collaborate with Business Development on growth,

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 7+ years of managerial experience.
• 10+ years in energy efficiency with utility program management.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams across multiple states.
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management.
• Experience managing multi-million-dollar contracts and P&L.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the EE program portfolio.
• Lead Directors, Portfolio Managers, and Engineering teams.
• Ensure programs meet contractual requirements and energy savings targets.
• Maintain full portfolio P&L, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Partner with Business Development for growth and rebids.
• Deliver executive reporting to senior leadership.
