Job summary

Baxter Batesville is seeking a Plant Controller to lead end-to-end financial operations for the Batesville, IN facility, partnering with the Plant Manager and site leadership to drive performance and accuracy.

You will manage budgeting, forecasting, inventory costing, and capital projects, while promoting financial literacy and accountability across a 335 direct and 184 indirect workforce. This onsite role anchors manufacturing finance leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; MBA/CMA/CPA preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive finance or accounting experience in manufacturing.
• Strong costing, inventory accounting, and manufacturing finance expertise.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close with accuracy across inventory and COGS.
• Oversee plant costing, variance analysis, overhead allocation, and inventory control.
• Lead AOP, quarterly forecasts, long-range planning, and capital project modeling.
• Drive process improvements and ensure SOX compliance; coach plant leaders.
