About 11x.ai
At 11x.ai, we’re building a future where companies scale without scaling headcount. Our AI workers replace manual B2B workflows — from sales to operations — with autonomous systems that work 24/7, get better over time, and cost a fraction of a full-time hire. We're backed by top-tier investors and led by a founding team with deep experience in AI, automation, and scaling startups.
The Role
We’re looking for a
Finance Operations Associate to join as one of the first hires on our finance team. You’ll work directly with the VP of Finance to establish and streamline key financial systems and processes, support strategic projects, and help scale the company’s financial operations. This is a foundational role with high visibility and growth potential — ideal for someone who wants to go beyond accounting and build toward leadership in FP&A, BizOps, or strategic finance.
You’ll play a critical part in managing core financial workflows, including accounting support, payment systems, invoicing, and spend controls. Over time, you’ll take ownership of third-party vendor relationships, contribute to board and investor reporting, and help drive high-impact cross-functional initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Support financial operations including invoicing, payments, spend management, and financial tooling
- Maintain and improve systems like Stripe, Rippling, and Mercury for better visibility and control
- Manage and optimize relationships with external partners (banks, payroll, accounting firms, etc.)
- Assist in preparing materials for board meetings, fundraising, and strategic planning
- Work closely with leadership on projects that require a combination of analytical rigor and operational execution
- Help build scalable finance infrastructure as the company grows
What We’re Looking For
- 1–3 years of experience in finance or accounting at startup, hedge fund, boutique firm or some other fast paced environment
- A strong foundation in financial principles or a CPA
- Eager to move beyond traditional accounting into a more strategic, cross-functional role
- Highly organized, with attention to detail and a bias toward action
- Humble, sharp, and motivated — someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and loves to figure things out
- Comfortable working independently but collaborative when needed
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work directly with senior leadership
