Veda Tech Labs is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Finance and Operations Associate to manage internal operations, financial coordination, and compliance across our entities. You will work closely with the COO to ensure the business runs smoothly across legal, financial, and operational fronts.
What you'll do:
Finance & Accounting Coordination
Work closely with external accountants to ensure accurate bookkeeping, payroll, and reconciliations
Manage incoming/outgoing payments: invoices, reimbursements, vendor contracts, service providers
Support financial reporting for internal and investor use
Ensure tax registrations and filings are up to date across US states and international entities
Operations & Compliance
Maintain internal data rooms, vendor records, and operational checklists
Collaborate with the COO and legal & compliance to implement policies and processes
Support entity formation, state registrations, and documentation for international structures
Coordinate team access to tools and systems (Gusto, Notion, banking portals, etc.)
Legal & Regulatory Support
Liaise w/ legal counsel on contracts, NDAs, and compliance filings
Track contract deliverables and grant agreement obligations
Ensure regulatory compliance across employment, tax, and finance
