New Collaborative Learning Trust is seeking a Finance Officer to join the Secondary Trust Finance Team. You will provide comprehensive financial support, administration and advice across the Trust and assist with management accounts preparation and data quality control.
The role will require a willingness to work towards a finance qualification (AAT) and a strong focus on numeracy, detail, and compliance with VAT/HMRC policies.

Salary: School Support Staff salary scale, Band F (Points 12-17). Actual Salary (£29,542-£32,046)

We are seeking a Finance Officer to work with the Secondary Trust Finance Team to provide a comprehensive range of financial support, administration and advice across the Trust. The post holder will closely support the Trust Finance Manager on higher level financial tasks including management account preparation and quality control of financial data.
The successful candidate will have, or be willing to work towards, a finance qualification (e.g. AAT). They should have strong numeracy skills, excellent attention to detail and a comprehensive knowledge of monthly financial administration and integrated financial accounting systems. You should have a willingness to work flexibly within the team and have strong organisational and time management skills. A knowledge of financial and accounting policy and regulations such as VAT and HMRC is essential.
In return, NCLT will support you in the advancement of your finance career, including providing funded Continuing Professional Development (such as the AAT qualifications) and the opportunity for progression as the role develops.
