Job summary

Walmart Finance MBA Leadership Development Program is a highly competitive, two-year rotational program for MBA students focusing on finance, strategy, and analytics. It provides rotations across Commercial Finance areas, extensive training, and exposure to senior leadership and mentorship.

Participants gain hands-on experience in data analysis, financial modeling, and strategic decision support, with opportunities to pursue roles across Walmart after completion.

Qualifications

• MBA enrollment with graduation date before July 2027
• 4+ years of industry or military work experience
• Professional experience in Finance, Strategy, Accounting, or related field preferred
• 1 year of experience managing people or cross-functional teams preferred
• 2 years of experience in a large, complex matrixed organization preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication, experience presenting to leadership
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, comfortable with large datasets
• Authorization to work in the US without restrictions at the time of application

Responsibilities

• Engage in three eight-month rotations across diverse Finance areas (e.g., Strategy, Operations, FP&A, Merchandising, Supply Chain, Real Estate, Digital Transformation)
• Participate in four weeks of dedicated leadership and technical training
• Collaborate with senior leaders and mentors, contributing to data analysis, financial modeling, and strategic decision support
• Develop individualized development plans and pursue opportunities aligned with performance and readiness
