AIR Communities in Irvine, CA is hiring a Finance Manager for the West Operations Team to drive financial analysis, forecasting, and strategic planning for our properties. This role focuses on optimizing revenue, controlling costs, and partnering with regional leaders.

Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing critical finance data, performing FP&A, supporting acquisitions and capex analyses, and guiding budget adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience in Finance and Operations; real estate experience a plus.
• Strong financial acumen and data modelling skills.
• Strong business writing skills; SQL knowledge a plus.

Job Description

We are hiring a Finance Manager to join our West Operations Team in Irvine, CA who will:

• Prepare, review, and analyze critical Operations Finance data to increase revenue and minimize costs.
• Diagnose complex situations, and present possible solutions to business leaders.
• Guide regional leaders on financial performance, providing direction and support for maintaining budget responsibility.
• Participate in monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and multi‑year strategic planning.
• Tackle challenging problems in support of company financial and analytics disciplines (i.e. FP&A, Capital Planning, Revenue Management, Decision Support, Acquisitions).
• Assist with analysis related to significant transactions such as property sales, acquisitions and capital expenditures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent.
• At least 3 to 5 years of experience in Finance and Operations. Real Estate experience is a plus.
• Strong financial acumen.
• Strong data modeling experience.
• Strong business writing skills.
• Experience with SQL Server and databases is a plus.
