Job summary

Southwire Company, a leading North American wire and cable producer, seeks a Controller-level finance leader. Establish and maintain accounting policies, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide strategic financial insights to guide decisions.

Oversee budgeting, reporting, and internal controls while developing the finance team. The role requires CPA/CMA/CGMA or equivalent certification preference, 5–11+ years’ experience, and a commitment to accuracy, integrity, and operational excellence

Qualifications

• Minimum education: Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA/CMA/CGMA or equivalent preferred.
• 5–7 years of experience; 8–11 years preferred in related roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and maintenance of accounting policies and financial reporting.
• Advise senior management on financial strategy and risks.
• Coordinate finance team activities across budgeting, reporting, and compliance.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and controls.
• Manage relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
• Develop and monitor financial systems and processes for efficiency.
