Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Finance Manager to lead the team responsible for Finance Strategy and Operations, including annual budget prep, monthly forecasts, strategic planning, and management reporting. The role sits in the Financial Strategy and Operations function, ensuring accurate accounting policies and controls.

The successful candidate will supervise staff, manage schedules, oversee the budgeting and forecasting processes, and produce routine and ad hoc reports for senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, and mentoring.
• Ability to communicate sensitive information and guide performance expectations.
• Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality and efficiency.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational and quantitative skills for financial calculations.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision to employees, conduct evaluations, and manage hiring.
• Coordinate daily activities, set schedules, and cross-train staff.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and reporting.
• Review balance sheet, cash flows, and standard reporting for accuracy.
• Approve basic monthly journal entries and prepare management reports.
• Develop accounting policies and procedures; communicate with stakeholders.
• Explain complex information and manage sensitive issues; drive collaboration.
