Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Finance Manager in Washington, DC to lead a team responsible for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. You will oversee monthly close, drive strategic planning, and ensure quality management reporting for senior leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.
  • Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
  • Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
  • Intermediate math skills; ability to calculate figures such as percentages and fractions.

  • Review balance sheet accounts, cash flows, and supporting schedules for accuracy; review and approve basic monthly journal entries.
  • Produce routine and ad hoc financial reports, packages, and pro forma analyses for senior management.
  • Coordinate research, development, and preparation of accounting policy and procedures.

As a CBRE Finance Manager, you will manage the team responsible for producing limited output associated with Finance Strategy and Operations, including but not limited to the annual budget preparation, monthly forecasts, strategic planning, and management reporting.

This job is part of the Financial Strategy and Operations job function. They are responsible for maintaining accounting, financial, and reporting policies and controls.

What You'll Do

What You'll Need:

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the position is $115K per year and the maximum salary for the position is or $130K per year. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program.
