Job summary

Kohler Co. in Kohler, WI, is seeking a Finance Manager, FP&A (Sales & Standard Margin), to own sales and margin forecasting, build driver-based models, and provide forward-looking insights to support enterprise planning.

This role partners with business and Finance leaders to align forecast assumptions, translate drivers into insights, ensure forecast governance, and deliver leadership-ready reports with timely updates.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA/CPA preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant finance/FP&A experience.
  • Experience with forecasting, driver-based modeling, and variance analysis.
  • Strong analytical capability and ability to translate drivers into insights.

Responsibilities

  • Own sales and standard margin forecasting processes, outputs, and governance.
  • Build and maintain driver-based revenue and margin models.
  • Partner with business leaders to validate forecast assumptions and drivers.
  • Translate volume, price, mix, and margin drivers into financial insights.
  • Provide forward-looking analysis of risks, opportunities, and performance trends.
  • Align forecasts with margin expectations and financial projections.
  • Monitor rebates, promotional spend and sales deductions with partners.
  • Drive forecast discipline, transparency, and timely updates.
  • Analyze forecast-to-actual variances and explain key drivers.
  • Maintain documentation of forecast inputs, assumptions, changes, outputs.
  • Ensure forecast integrity, auditability, and compliance.
  • Prepare leadership-ready reporting and recommendations.
  • Improve forecasting processes and stakeholder confidence.

Finance Manager, Sales & Standard Margin

Work Mode: Onsite

Location: Onsite, four days per week – Kohler, WI

Opportunity

The Finance Manager, FP&A (Sales & Standard Margin), owns sales and standard margin forecasting, providing driver-based financial modeling, forward-looking insights, and forecast governance to support enterprise planning and decision-making.

This role partners with business and Finance leaders to align forecast assumptions, explain revenue and margin drivers, and ensure sales, margin, and financial outputs are connected and transparent.

The Finance Manager, FP&A (Sales & Standard Margin) strengthens forecast discipline, integrity, auditability, and control compliance while improving the speed, accuracy, and business relevance of forecast updates.

Specific Responsibilities
  • Own sales and standard margin forecasting processes, outputs, and governance.
  • Build and maintain driver-based revenue and margin models.
  • Partner with business leaders to validate forecast assumptions and key drivers.
  • Translate volume, price, mix, and margin drivers into financial insights.
  • Provide forward-looking analysis of risks, opportunities, and performance trends.
  • Align sales forecasts, margin expectations, and financial projections.
  • Monitor and analyze rebates, promotional spend and sales deductions in coordination with Price-Margin Realization and business partners
  • Drive forecast discipline, transparency, and timely forecast updates.
  • Analyze forecast-to-actual variances and explain key business drivers.
  • Maintain documentation of forecast inputs, assumptions, changes, and outputs.
  • Ensure forecast integrity, auditability, and compliance with forecasting controls.
  • Prepare leadership-ready reporting and recommendations to support decisions.
  • Improve forecasting processes, model quality, and stakeholder confidence.
Skills/Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Analytics, or a related field required; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant finance, FP&A, accounting, or business analysis experience.
  • Experience with forecasting, driver-based modeling, sales and margin analysis, variance analysis, and business partnership preferred.
  • Strong analytical capability, forecast discipline, data accuracy, and ability to translate complex drivers into clear financial insights required.

The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation.
