Job summary

Kohler Co. is seeking a Manager of Finance, Global Transportation, onsite in Kohler, WI. You will provide financial support for inbound freight, customer delivery, and interplant freight, including annual plan and monthly forecasts, and own analyses for strategic transportation projects.

The role requires a BBA in Accounting/Finance, strong communication, and familiarity with SAP/Excel/BPC. Salary range $118,650–$183,650 with a potential bonus; day-1 benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance required.

Responsibilities

• Own global transportation forecasting, annual operating plan, and long-range planning.
• Lead monthly NA forecasting and support global transportation planning.
• Consolidate and communicate transportation financial performance vs plan/forecast.
• Develop actionable insights for supply chain and finance leadership.
• Serve as lead finance partner for Transportation, Distribution, Procurement and Supply Chain leadership.
• Support transportation sourcing events and contract negotiations via financial analysis.
• Develop scenario modeling to assess market and demand impacts.
• Identify cost drivers, risks and opportunities and propose mitigations.
• Conduct special studies under Director – Finance, Global Supply Chain.

Manager - Finance, Global Transportation

Work Mode:Onsite

Location: Onsite, four days per week - Kohler, WI

Opportunity

Under the direction of the Director – Finance, Global Supply Chain, provide financial support Global Transportation – including inbound freight, customer delivery, and interplant freight. This includes yearly financial plan and monthly forecasting as well as owning the analysis for different strategic transportation projects.

Specific Responsibilities

• Own the global transportation forecasting, annual operating plan, and long-range strategic planning processes.
• Lead monthly forecasting activities for North America and support global transportation planning requirements across business units.
• Consolidate, analyze, and communicate transportation financial performance against plan, forecast, and prior year results.
• Develop actionable insights and recommendations for supply chain and finance leadership.
• Serve as the lead finance business partner for Transportation, Distribution, Procurement, and Supply Chain leadership teams.
• Support transportation sourcing events, bid evaluations, and contract negotiations through financial analysis and modeling.
• Develop scenario modeling and sensitivity analyses to assess impacts from market conditions, fuel trends, customer demand changes, and network redesign activities.
• Identify transportation cost drivers, risks, and opportunities and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Conduct other special studies and projects under the direction of the Director – Finance, Global Supply Chain.

Skills/Requirements

• A Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting or Finance is a minimum requirement.
• Strong communication ability with which to contact broad organizational levels in a financial and managerial capacity.
• Working knowledge of SAP (or equivalent ERP system), Excel, and BPC is preferred.

The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.
