Job summary

N-able is seeking an experienced FP&A professional to lead top-line planning, forecasting, and reporting. The role partners with Investor Relations and GM/Go-to-Market leaders to translate bookings and renewals into ARR outcomes, while driving key top-line processes.

You will mentor a financial analyst, build flexible financial models in Excel, and leverage Tableau/PowerBI/Anaplan plus AI tools to deliver actionable insights for the business.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in FP&A, or similar analytical roles; SaaS or technology industry experience is a big plus. Prior people management skills a plus.
• Deep understanding of SaaS metrics and how they connect to ARR growth
• Excellent communication skills; ability to synthesize complex financials into a digestible story for a wide range of audiences
• Proficiency in Excel and ability to build flexible, dynamic models from scratch
• Experience with Tableau, PowerBI, Anaplan, and AI tools (MSFT Copilot, Claude) is highly desired

Responsibilities

• Manage, coach, and mentor a financial analyst, instilling best practices and driving career development.
• Own consolidated top line planning, forecasting, and reporting for N-able. Connect business inputs (bookings, renewals) to ARR outcomes.
• Drive recurring top line workflows including weekly flashes, monthly writeups, QBR materials, and BOD materials.
• Act as a key partner to the Investor Relations group, supporting quarterly Earnings processes including Guidance, Q&A prep, and other earnings-related packages.
• Act as key point of contact for General Managers and Go-to-Market leadership, translating business inputs into ARR outcomes; pressure test and constructively push back on assumptions.
• Act as key partner to the Business Intelligence team and the Pricing & Packaging team in pursuit of net-new ARR opportunities and commercial strategies.
• Develop a deep understanding of our unit economics, helping drive commercial decisions‑making.
