Job summary

N-able is seeking an FP&A professional to join our growing cybersecurity SaaS business. This highly visible role focuses on building models, forecasting, and turning data into actionable insights.

You will lead a financial analyst, connect bookings and renewals to ARR, and prepare quarterly and annual materials while partnering with General Managers and Go-to-Market leadership to challenge assumptions and drive ARR growth. We offer a hybrid work model and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of FP&A or similar analytical roles in SaaS/tech
• Deep understanding of SaaS metrics and ARR growth
• Excellent communication skills; ability to synthesize financials for diverse audiences
• Proficiency in Excel; build flexible, dynamic models from scratch
• Experience with BI tools (Tableau, PowerBI) and Anaplan is highly desired

• Own consolidated top line planning, forecasting, and reporting for N-able.
• Drive weekly/ monthly top line workflows and prepare BOD materials.
• Partner with Investor Relations for earnings processes and guidance.
• Collaborate with GM and Go-to-Market leaders to translate inputs into ARR outcomes.
• Partner with BI and Pricing teams on net-new ARR opportunities and commercial strategies.
• Develop deep understanding of unit economics to drive commercial decisions.

Opportunity to join the FP&A team at a growing, publicly traded, cybersecurity SaaS business. We're looking for a versatile FP&A professional who is comfortable building models, partnering with budget holders, and synthesizing complex data into digestible, actionable insights. This is a highly visible role that will be relied on to help drive decision-making.

What You'll Do:

• Manage, coach, and mentor a financial analyst, instilling best practices and driving career development.
• Own consolidated top line planning, forecasting, and reporting for N-able. Connect business inputs (bookings, renewals) to ARR outcomes.
• Drive recurring top line workflows including weekly flashes, monthly writeups, QBR materials, and BOD materials.
• Act as a key partner to the Investor Relations group, supporting quarterly Earnings processes including Guidance, Q&A prep, and other earnings-related packages.
• Act as key point of contact for General Managers and Go-to-Market leadership, translating business inputs into ARR outcomes; pressure test and constructively push back on assumptions.
• Act as a key partner to the Business Intelligence team and the Pricing & Packaging team in pursuit of net-new ARR opportunities and commercial strategies.
• Develop a deep understanding of our unit economics, helping drive commercial decisions-making.

What You'll Bring:

• 5+ years of experience in FP&A, or similar analytical roles; SaaS or technology industry experience is a big plus. Prior people management skills a plus.
• Deep understanding of SaaS metrics and how they connect to ARR growth
• Excellent communication skills; ability to synthesize complex financials into a digestible story for a wide range of audiences
• Proficiency in Excel and ability to build flexible, dynamic models from scratch
• Experience with Tableau, PowerBI, Anaplan, and AI tools (MSFT Copilot, Claude) is highly desired
