About the role

As a CBRE Finance Manager, you will lead the team responsible for producing outputs related to Finance Strategy and Operations, including annual budget preparation, monthly forecasts, strategic planning, and management reporting. This role involves maintaining accounting, financial, and reporting policies and controls.

What you'll do
  1. Provide formal supervision to employees, including training, development, performance evaluations, and mentoring. Lead recruiting and hiring processes.
  2. Coordinate and oversee the team's daily activities, establish work schedules, assign tasks, cross-train staff, and monitor deadlines. Mentor and coach team members.
  3. Lead budgeting, forecasting, planning, and reporting processes.
  4. Review balance sheet accounts, cash flow statements, supporting schedules, and consolidated reports for accuracy.
  5. Review and approve monthly journal entries.
  6. Produce financial reports, packages, and analyses for senior management.
  7. Develop and update accounting policies and procedures.
  8. Communicate complex information clearly, convey performance expectations, and address critical issues.
  9. Negotiate and influence stakeholders to reach agreements.
  10. Model behaviors aligned with CBRE RISE values and lead by example.
  11. Apply field-specific knowledge to achieve team and departmental objectives.
  12. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve operational issues.
What you'll need
  1. Bachelor's Degree preferred, with 3-5 years of relevant experience. Experience and education may be considered as alternatives.
  2. Experience in staffing, training, coaching, performance management, and retention.
  3. Strong communication skills for conveying complex information and managing stakeholder expectations.
  4. Leadership skills to enhance team performance and departmental effectiveness.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, Outlook.
  6. Intermediate math skills for financial calculations.
  7. Experience in project management financial planning, including budget development and cost estimation.
