U.S. Bank is seeking a Regulatory Policy professional to monitor and interpret domestic regulatory developments, focusing on capital and liquidity rulemakings.

You will partner with corporate functions, risk, finance, and other stakeholders to assess regulatory implications and support consistent rule interpretation. Responsibilities include capital optimization initiatives, implementing new regulatory requirements, and monitoring industry trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Eight or more years of related experience.
• Working knowledge of U.S. banking regulations, regulatory capital frameworks, liquidity requirements, and supervisory expectations for large banks.
• Strong analytical and research skills to interpret regulatory materials and identify business impacts.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and summarize proposed and final regulatory capital and liquidity rule changes and assess their impact.
• Prepare materials to communicate regulatory developments to management and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with second-line and review functions to ensure governance and interpretation.
• Evaluate capital implications of transactions, products, and initiatives under current rules.
• Provide regulatory capital guidance to business partners on products and transactions.
• Support regulatory rule change implementation and documentation.
