FirstService Residential is hiring a Financial Manager of Client Accounting to guide the financial success of residential communities. The role blends client-facing leadership with deep financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives across multiple regions.

The ideal candidate holds a accounting/finance degree with an MBA preferred, 5+ years in FP&A management, and strong Excel/PowerPoint with ERP experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required.
• MBA is highly preferred for leadership track.
• 5+ years’ experience as Manager or Director of Financial Planning and Analysis.
• Strong leadership and multi-unit/retail or property management experience.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; Great Plains/VENA desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting and board presentations.
• Provide analytical, business insight support and KPI reporting.
• Develop budgeting, forecasting, operating plan, and modeling tools for East and NYC regions.
• Produce quarterly and monthly financial reports with insights into key drivers.
• Evaluate processes to improve efficiency and ROI in marketing, pricing, renewals, and new projects.
• Create financial models to support strategic initiatives and pricing decisions.
• Analyze complex financial information to advise management on decisions.
• Support senior management and department heads with in-depth analysis.
• Monitor performance indicators and explain variances.
