Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a Financial Manager of Client Accounting to guide the financial success of residential communities. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives while presenting clear insights to clients and leadership.

You will manage financial analyses, develop models, and supervise teams across East/NYC regions, using advanced Excel and PowerPoint to drive ROI and decisions. Hybrid work options support collaboration with local offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required; MBA is highly preferred.
• 5+ years’ experience as Manager or Director of Financial Planning and Analysis.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; experience in multi-unit retail/property management is preferred.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; Great Plains/VENA experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and strategic initiatives.
• Provide analytical support and insights to management and clients.
• Develop financial models and analyses to support pricing and market decisions.
• Monitor performance indicators and drive process improvements and ROI optimization.
• Prepare quarterly and monthly financial reports with clear driver analysis.
