Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a Financial Planning and Analysis Director for the North Region. The hybrid role reports to multiple corporate offices (Chicago, Hoffman Estates, or Bloomington) with travel as needed.

You’ll own the planning cycle, drive performance metrics, and collaborate across skews to optimize profitability. Requires a CPA-leaning background and 10+ years of FP&A leadership, preferably in multi-unit retail or property management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years in financial planning and analysis with proven managerial experience.
• Experience in multi-unit retail or property management preferred.
• VENA experience preferred.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and drive process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute the company’s financial planning cycle and reporting cadence.
• Act as the analytical engine to drive business improvements across departments.
• Perform ROI analysis on marketing programs and new projects.
• Manage system implementations and acquisitions planning and integration.
• Coordinate monthly financial and operational performance reviews with market teams.
• Oversee budgets, forecasts, long-term plans, and capital reporting.
