Job summary

The Community Youth Center of San Francisco is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee our finance operations, reporting, and compliance from our Richmond District office. This in-person role will supervise staff, manage payroll, AP/AR, and budgeting processes, and provide strategic financial insights to leadership.

The ideal candidate has a nonprofit background, strong Excel skills, and proven leadership in financial planning, controls, and audits. Excellent benefits accompany a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 6+ years in finance, with 4+ in management in nonprofit.
• Excellent written and oral communication; strong financial presentation.
• Experience with nonprofit grant management and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee payroll, AP, AR, and GL operations.
• Ensure GAAP-compliant financial reporting.
• Lead annual budget development and forecasting.
• Coordinate audits and tax filings.
• Develop internal controls and process improvements.
• Manage finance staff and performance reviews.
