• Own financial reporting for your business area, supervise and coach others on reporting accuracy, and resolve complex data integrity issues by collaborating with stakeholders to maintain the highest standards.
• Identify opportunities to resolve finance defects and improve, automate, or standardize finance tools and processes across teams and organizations.
• Communicate financial data clearly and concisely, both written and verbal, adjusting your style for the audience to articulate complex finance issues to partners across Safety, Maintenance Engineering, Human Resources, Process Engineering, and Sales and Operations Planning.

A day in the life

You might start your morning reviewing financial reports for accuracy before diving into a labor plan model to validate cost assumptions for an upcoming operational cycle. By midday, you are sitting down with a Site Leader to walk through your analysis, fielding questions, and pressure-testing assumptions together. In the afternoon, you could be working with Process Engineering on a cost optimization initiative or preparing a narrative for a regional director review. You will regularly partner with teams across Safety, Maintenance Engineering, Human Resources, and Sales and Operations Planning to keep financial insights connected to operational reality.

Our finance team supports Amazon Robotics Sortable operations, partnering closely with the regional and super-regional leadership across the US East network. We work alongside Safety, Repairs and Maintenance Engineering, Human Resources, Process Engineering, and Sales and Operations Planning to deliver financial insights that keep fulfillment operations cost-effective and running smoothly.
