Job summary

Starbucks is seeking a finance manager to join the North America Store Development and Innovation Finance Team, overseeing annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and critical monthly/quarterly reporting. You will guide a high-performing team and deliver analyses to influence leadership decisions.

The role requires a strong background in FP&A or corporate finance, with MBA or CPA/CFA preferred, and a track record of coaching others, driving cost management, and partnering with executives to turn

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or professional certification (CPA/CFA) preferred.
• 7+ years of FP&A, corporate finance, or business analysis.
• Demonstrated cost management experience across multiple departments.
• Excellent business partnering and communication skills; ability to influence stakeholders and present complex financial insights clearly to executive leadership.
• Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Ability to coach, manage, develop, and lead others.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of 4 finance professionals.
• Own the delivery of key FP&A tasks including forecasting, budgeting, ad hoc analysis, and performance reporting on weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual cadence.
• Partner with the business and senior leaders to influence strategies through a financial lens and escalate issues when needed.
• Drive critical process improvement initiatives across multiple areas of the business, within the team and for business customers.
