Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Finance Manager to join the North America Operations FP&A Outbound Consolidation Reporting team, based in Bellevue, WA. You will lead the consolidation and storytelling of Outbound transportation financials, support quarter outlook and month-end close, and partner with carrier FP&A teams and NA Ops leadership.

The role demands deep financial analysis, strong communication, and the ability to influence decisions under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of tax, finance or related analytical field experience.
• 6+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets to inform business decision-making.
• 5+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy.
• 5+ years of leading cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy.
• Bachelor's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics or equivalent quantitative field.

Responsibilities

• Driving the integrity and accuracy of the NA outbound KPI’s and financial reporting
• Exercising clear communication and strong partnership skills to tell a concise and consistent story, but with detail
• Ensuring a high degree of controllership and compliance by monitoring forecast accuracy, understanding drivers of variances, and providing insightful commentary
• Using strong business acumen and financial knowledge to build financial models that draw conclusions and inform decisions
• Setting up mechanisms, streamlining processes, and looking for ways to invent and simplify
• Navigating through ambiguous situations, exercising good judgment, and operating in high-pressure situations with tight deadlines
• Performing adhoc analysis and embracing change
