Wilson-McShane Corporation, a third party administrator for Taft-Hartley funds, is seeking a full-time Finance Manager in our Kansas City, MO office. The Finance Manager leads accounting and finance operations supporting Taft-Hartley benefit funds, supervising staff, improving processes, and ensuring accurate reporting to Fund management, auditors, and Trustees.

Qualificações

• Strong leadership with staff development and accountability.
• Experience with financial reporting, reconciliations, and audits.
• Expertise in Taft-Hartley Fund accounting and MIP Fund Accounting.
• Ability to research and resolve accounting issues and variances.
• Proven ability to implement process improvements and controls.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Finance department.
• Review transactions, general ledger activity, and documentation for accuracy.
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes and reporting.
• Coordinate audits with external fund auditors and DoL/IRS as needed.
• Develop staff and foster continuous improvement.
