Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Finance Manager for Immunology Global R&D and Commercial Strategy, based in Spring House, PA or Titusville, NJ. The role includes leadership across strategic programs, managing a small team, and delivering robust financial analyses to drive business decisions.
The candidate will partner with R&D and Commercial partners, support business development, and help transform finance into an insight-driven function through best-in-class analytics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or business required.
- MBA or Master’s in Finance/Analytics preferred.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in Finance or relevant business experience.
- Advanced proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel.
- Strong storytelling and delivery of financial content to non-financial audiences.
- Proven experience partnering with leaders on developing business strategies & influencing at all levels.
Responsibilities
- Lead Strategic Programs in Immunology TA, including JNJ-5223 and JNJ-4804, with close collaboration with R&D and Commercial partners.
- Manage two direct reports; oversee financial consolidation for close, forecasts, LRFP and valuations.
- Develop strategic analyses to support business cases and ad hoc value creation.
- Support business development to deliver value-creating deals and competitive insights.
- Transform finance into an insight-driven business accelerator through analytics and decision support.

Play a leadership role across Strategic Programs in Immunology TA, including JNJ-5223 and JNJ-4804 programs, working closely with business partners in R&D and Commercial organizations to ensure solid governance, decision-making, and execution of programs in the pipeline. The role will collaborate with the Compound Development Team/s to ensure an efficient, lean operation of the clinical programs to deliver on efficiency and financial targets. This role will directly be responsible for managing 2 direct reports. This role will provide leadership for key assets, help with financial consolidation for close, forecast cycles, LRFP and valuations, as well as developing strategic analysis to support business cases on an ad hoc basis. Support business development to deliver value creating deals and competitive insights on the Immunology portfolio. Continue to transform the finance organization into an insight driven business accelerator through the implementation of best-in-class analytics and decision support. Design, develop, enhance, and implement processes that lead to greater efficiency and reduce non-value-added activities across the TA Provide exceptional people leadership across direct staff and global Janssen R&D finance team by attracting, developing, and retaining diverse, influential talent. Build a culture of inclusion leading to a robust pipeline of diverse business leaders.
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree, preferably with a major in Finance or business is required.
- MBA or master’s in Finance/Analytics is preferred.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in Finance or relevant business experience is required.
- Advanced proficiency with common Microsoft Office applications such as PowerPoint and Excel is required.
- Strong skills in storytelling and delivery of powerful presentations of financial content to non-financial audiences are required.
- Proven experience in partnering with leaders (business/finance associates) on developing business strategies & influencing at all levels of the organization is required.
- Ability to lead teams in a complex, virtual environment and develop those individuals to meet the future needs of the business is required.
- At least 2 years of experience in people management is required.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is : $102,000-$177,100

Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, Employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
- Vacation –120 hours per calendar year
- Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year
- Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year
- Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
- Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
- Condolence Leave – 30 days for an immediate family member
- 5 days for an extended family member
- Caregiver Leave – 10 days
