Qualifications

• Requires at least 4 years of hands-on accounting/finance experience with progressive analytical responsibility.
• Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in finance/accounting.
• MBA or coursework toward an MBA preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, sound judgment and ability to learn quickly.
• Ability to adapt to new situations and work with senior management while prioritizing multiple projects.
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the month-end close process and variance analysis versus projection and plan.
• Weekly and monthly analysis of food, labor and direct cost productivity, including identifying underperforming locations.
• Root cause analysis of revenue, operating costs and EBIDTA variances to plan and projections.
• Leads base unit bookkeepers ensuring completeness and integrity of financial reports and internal controls.
• Partners with operations teams to drive profitable growth through productivity and revenue enhancement.
• Oversees compliance with contract results and participates in contract performance reviews.
• Trains operations managers and unit bookkeepers on financial reporting systems and responsibilities.
• Supports Operations with client meetings, QBRs and budget presentations.
