Job summary

Bay Family of Companies, a stable, family-owned business with 50 years of success, is seeking an experienced Finance Manager for our Corporate Office in Wisconsin. You will lead the finance team, oversee close processes, audits, and reporting, and partner with business leaders to turn financial data into strategic insights.

You will drive KPI dashboards, financial analysis, and process improvements across segments, with occasional travel up to 5%, leveraging Power Excel and D365 tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• Five years of progressive accounting/finance experience required (public and/or private).
• Three years of experience leading or managing employees required.
• Manufacturing accounting/finance experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with multi-entity reporting and/or foreign currency reporting strongly preferred.
• Experience in FP&A-style analysis and business partnering (profitability, pricing/margin analysis, KPI development, executive reporting).
• Strong financial modeling skills with advanced Excel (Power Query/Power Pivot, pivots, lookups).
• Experience with ERP/reporting tools such as Microsoft Dynamics D365 and Management Reporter is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Finance team, including coaching and performance feedback.
• Oversee month-end and year-end close activities and management reporting packages.
• Review journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and audit workpapers.
• Develop KPI dashboards and executive reporting on key metrics.
• Provide financial analysis to support strategic decisions.
• Analyze revenue and expenses and identify risks and opportunities.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and controls across segments.
