Job summary

Hillman seeks an experienced Manager, Finance to own full-cycle finance and accounting operations in Cincinnati. You will lead a 3–4 person team, coordinate with Corporate Finance, and ensure alignment on reporting, controls, and strategic priorities.

The ideal candidate balances hands-on accounting with compliance, audit readiness, and cross-functional collaboration to drive performance and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5–8+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience with FP&A exposure.
• Solid grounding in full-cycle accounting (AR/AP, GL, close processes).
• 2+ years of experience directly managing or supervising a team.
• Knowledge of GAAP, tax compliance, and audit processes.
• Experience with external audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting and forecasting cycles for the business unit.
• Prepare monthly variance analysis and communicate key drivers to leaders.
• Develop financial models for planning, pricing decisions, and ROI analysis.
• Monitor revenue, margin, and operating expenses; identify risks and opportunities.
• Partner with leaders to build department budgets and track KPIs.
• Oversee end-to-end accounting operations and month/year-end closes.
• Prepare board-level and executive reporting packages and KPI dashboards.
• Drive cost-saving opportunities through data-driven analysis.
• Ensure tax compliance and coordinate with external advisors and auditors.
• Maintain internal controls and stay updated on GAAP and tax changes.
