Job summary

HR Soul is seeking a hands-on Finance Manager to join our Tampa-based team. You’ll own core finance, accounting, FP&A, compliance, tax coordination, and audit activities, partnering with leadership to drive clarity and informed decision-making.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of progressive finance experience, a strong accounting foundation, and the ability to move between detailed reporting and strategic analysis in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive finance and/or accounting experience.
• Strong finance and accounting foundation across accounting and FP&A.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and variance analysis.
• Experience coordinating with external accounting and tax firms.
• Familiarity with annual audit processes and working with auditors.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of state filings and ensure deadlines are met.
• Coordinate tax filings in partnership with external firm.
• Lead compliance training and related processes.
• Maintain accurate financial and compliance documentation.
• Monitor deadlines and address gaps proactively.
• Provide leadership with financial information for decision-making.
• Lead and support annual budget planning and variance analyses.
• Develop reporting to give leadership visibility into performance.
• Manage rebate reporting, data accuracy, and documentation.
• Coordinate the annual audit process and liaise with auditors.
