Job summary

The Hillman Group seeks an experienced Manager, Finance in New Jersey to own full-cycle finance and accounting operations, including AR, AP, GL, tax compliance, and audit management. You will lead 3–4 finance professionals and align local reporting with Corporate Finance on controls and strategic priorities.

The role balances hands-on accounting with compliance, audit, and cross-functional coordination, driving performance and continuous improvement across the finance function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5-8+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience with FP&A exposure
• Strong GAAP knowledge and audit experience
• Experience managing or supervising a team
• Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems and advanced Excel

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle finance operations including AR, AP, GL and month-end close
• Own budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Prepare management reports, KPI dashboards, and executive summaries
• Perform financial modeling to support pricing, investments, and ROI
• Partner with business leaders to drive performance against KPIs and budgets
